    Seadoo 2010 rxpx drive shaft..

    hi,would i be able to use a 215hp rxp drive shaft on my 2010 rxpx? i am aware of the c clip and the screw on type drive line seal difference on the shaft.. but length wise n all that? would it be possible? thanks in advance

    The length is right, but it needs to be a 2008 RXP shaft to work. The RXPX c-clip is closer to the engine than the RXP c-clip placement. The 08 shaft has the two locations machined in it.

    Here is a picture of a shaft for you. See the two c-clip locations? So if you find one make sure it looks like this one.

    Can he get an older RXP shaft and have the second location machined?I think it can be done!

    That's a idea I don't see why not. Only thing is, if not done right the worst that could happen is ski may sink.

    RXP-RXPX 2004-2008, RXPX-2011 all will work. 2011 they went back to the old set up. Only 2009-2010 RXPX had the messed up shaft and different PTO bearing assy.
