What for? Its tough to do unless you split the top/bottom deck....Swap the hood for an RX hood, that will shave a few for a start...

How about putting your engine/electronics in a gpr hull? http://www.greenhulk.net/forums/show...16264&page=217

A GPRXP with a stock 215hp motor will run right about 80 mph.

In the conversion performance section there is loads of information on dropping the rxp engine into a gpr hull and you can use rxp or the gpr pump. Tedcfritz gprxp with the 09 rxpx stock internals /xcharger engine will run 88mph with only mods being an external intercooler and ecu reflash.

I'm not sure in your class of dragracing if this would be allowed or not, but if you're going for ultimate performance, it is certainly an avenue I'd look into before committing to putting your rxp on a diet.

Good luck splitting a stock hull without cutting it, the glue used like concrete...

You can get a fair amount of wieght out of them if you want to go to the extent of removing the second skin in the lower deck.

You can use a sanding pad on a angle grinder to thin out the upper deck in un-criticle areas, ie not the foot wells.

light wieght hood and seat make a big difference.

TBH tho the best thing to do is get a lightwieght hull. cut your lower deck off, thin the upper deck glue the new hull on. get light hood and seat and remove all of the plasitics.

My lightwiecht rxp is under 600lbs. but its got a proper lightwieght lower hull.

I guess i don't understand an 800 lbs gprxp I faster than 600 lbs Rxp. So if I drop my 81 mph power plant from my RXP in a gpr it should run 91 mph

Basically, YEA...The GPR hull rides a lot higher, and has less hull in the water to DRAG...Plus the hull is adjustable for speed. Once you know how to adjust the hull, you can find more speed...

...on a side note, I got a GPR hull sitting in my garage. Waiting for a new owner
