1. ## checking speeds

When traveling on rivers, do most of you check your jetski speeds with a GPS while going with the current or against the current? What speed are most of you posting? Just wondering if you realize there is a difference in the TRUE SPEED, if you're going with or against the current?

Doo atleast 2 passes each way, then find th middle number....

example = Upstream, 2 passes, 68.0 and 68.1....Downstream, 2 passes, 72.0, 72.1.....Average = 70.0

3. The true way is no current and no wind. Todd
