Just a FYI, you can also use this module to decrease your timing on higher boost setups in order to help your engine live

And to go further, couple this timing module with the Dynojet CMD unit and no need for a reflash. You have full control over your timing and fueling.

I assume that these items will work on turbo builds aswell?

Adjust your timing on your 300X skis with the Dynojet Ignition Module

The air source has nothing to do with fuel or Ecu control.

YES - actually, there are so many aspects of this that would be ideal for a turbo including programable ignition retard as per boost levels via MAP sensor - call Dynojet, ask for Keith

So if you are spending money on a big $$$$ turbo etc , do it correctly and get an ECU

these are only good as trimming devices in my opinion

Good point - I have asked Dynojet what would happen should the ignition or fuel piggy-back box fail. Would it just bypass without warning? They said that the engine would completely shut down. You could then simply unplug the harness to the CMD and ignition box and plug in a small jumper harness included with the kit. That then bypasses the Dynojet stuff and puts you back to stock. I like that you get that " warning" should that happen - unlike the R&D

Not that I think my ecu is for everyone but All in I am under 1k USD and its full control, if you guys are interested after I finish mine I will start on a base map for the 250, 260, and 300. Total including new harness, ecu, sealed case, and all factory connectors would be about $1000.

I do believe that this is a nice product because it retains the factory equipment that you want to keep but for a racer a full ecu might be a better option.

Here is a thread that most of the posts are off a CMD on a Sea-Doo. Most everything in that thread applies to a Kawi install. I am running a CMD/Autotune2/and an LCD-200 setup.
