    yammy fx sho cheap upgrades help needed

    hi guys i have just bought a yammy fx sho whats a good and cheapish mod to do to the ski for more power? i dont wanna go mad just a liitle more power... will a grate and impeller make a diffrence? many thanks guys

    reflash / ribbon delete / intake mod . grate and impeller wont do anything till u have increased hp

    Ribbon delete, and homemade intake piping also homemade exhaust baffle bypass with a repitched factory prop is about the cheapest mods you can do for the money. This is what I started with and now have done to a friends craft and gained a lot more holeshot and also 3 to 4 mph on top end. The next step is to upgrade your intake grate and let Jim modify your stock ride plate and you should easily be running about 71-72. I have pics if interested for the homemade stuff but will have wait till I get home to post. Just let me know. Also they are already out there in a post from me a while back called winter projects complete sometime in 2009-2010.

    It's a 2009 it's in mint condition I was told a grate and impeller will help?

    I felt my intake made a big difference on the ski. I would think this and a ribbon delete would be your best bang for your buck...
