St Johns River CS Lee Park to Blue Springs 1/20/2013

We have about 5 skis comitted to going. Plan to meet at CS Lee park off hwy 46 at 930am and head up to blue springs. Will be stopping to eat at one of the river fish camps. Anyone welcome to join! Bring extra gas if you think you'll need it....not sure if any of the places on the river will have gas.

    Cheers,

We had 4 skis, 6 people total.. We were on the water by 10am at CS Lee park. The weather starting out was cool and overcast and a bit breezy. Lake Harney was a bit chopped during the crossing, but once we were back in the river it was smooth as glass for the most part. We ran a total of 80 miles up to Blue Springs State Park and back to CS Lee park. It took us roughly 2.5 hours to get to Blue Springs. The manatees were up and down the spring run and the park was full of people. We stopped at High Bluff Marina and ate at the grill on the way back. ....food was super yummy. The sun came out as we entered Lake Monroe in the morning and the breeze calmed down. We arrived back at the ramp at 430pm. We had a great day full of riding!

    Cheers,
