It would be better for you to get one but IMO as lean as seadoo sets us up from the factory you will probably be ok. The General consensus is to USE an RRFPR with an MTXL or equivalent once you hit that power level and above. Your call.

If I had to guess... WOT with no RRFPR I would say low to mid 13s based on what I saw on my own ski.

What air intake are you using? 3", 4", or stock? You are in a really grey area that everyone will have their own opinion on. I ran a charger with a little less boost, ext ic, 42's, and 3" intake with no problems. Ran same charger with stock ic, 3" intake and was really rich with 42's so ran 38's. Keep in mind I was at 900 or so ft elevation and I'm guessing your at sea level or close? My opinion is just that, but you should be fine.

leave the IC alone if you're not going to at least get an AFR gauge. Do yourself a favor and get a cooler T-Stat. I would lose RPMS after about 5 minutes of hard riding in Clearwater. Dropped in a cold T-Stat and BOOM, constant RPMs all day long and a more reliable machine.

Open loop or just cold thermostat better .... I have a riva rideplate waiting on that decision for a year lol
