Riva's free flow exhaust sound level on VRX and FX SHO?

I'm thinking about installing Riva's free flow exhaust on a 2013 FXSHO and a 2013 VRX. I did the muffler bypass on my RXT-X and it was very loud. Can anyone share their experience with Riva's? Thanks

Check the search, theres some threads on it already. I can tell you personally from my FZR I love the free flow exhaust. Its not too loud at all, but it does sound a heck of a lot better than stock. A lot of guys on here dont like the "drone" sound you get with the freeflow around 3k-5k rpms, but IMO its not bad. Also consider that once you reach about 35-40mph all you can hear is the wind. Its a simple install as well.

I did it on my 2012 sho cruisers and it sounds great.

there is a mod that you can do to the standard exhaust and it costs basically nothing to do and is easy to do. I had a free flow on my 06 FXHO and the drone was very annoying. With my FZS I did the simple mod and it doesnt drone and is only slightly louder than stock, I have a reflashand a few other mods and have no intention of fitting an aftermarket exhaust.

I had a free flow on my VXS and went back to stock. It was annoying anywhere other than idle or WOT. I'd say do the rear exhaust or stay stock.

go with the rear exit, i went with the free flow and it wasnt long after i wished i went the other route, the hardest part is boring a large hole in your new hull, but its worth it, it no where as load as the free flow and way less annoying to anyone withing a mile or so........

Free Flow exhaust is louder and drones. Rear Exit exhaust sounds better IMO and doesn't have the drone.

Go thru hull, Rear exit sounds better plus after you waste money on the free flow you gonna go rear, it sounds way to sexy to resist.
