    FZR Pump Tunnel Reinforcement

Hey, questions to all who have done this work.

    1. How long did it take you?

    2. What glue did you use?

    thanks

to do it right and prep it good it takes about 4 hours and you will need to use 2 tubes of west marine six10 http://www.westsystem.com/ss/new-six10-epoxy-adhesive/

no need to use this one
I removed the two plastics and I used the west system epoxy resin with carbon fiber cloth
I put 4 layer of the cloth and its work fine no cracks until now I used it more than 120 house since I used the west system epoxy resin on my VXR

I did my gpr this way. I was hesitant to buy the reinforcement but once I had it in hand I knew I made the right decision! More than one way to skin a cat....

Lots of ways to do this but Coco's is one of the best! I have to do mine soon.

I did mine......the mould is pretty stout....my factory white reinforcement popped right off with minimal heat..... my tunnel didn't crack but the white reinforcements showed signs of compromise the screw on one side was bent......other one was held in with the brown glue the factory used. IF YOU HAVE NOT DONE THIS I WOULD TO AVOID A TOTAL LOSS OF YOUR SKI,

    I used 1.5 tubes of six 10
