Boat show deals: Do dealers usually waive freight and handling charges?

    Hello,

I was window shopping for a GTR 215 in Dallas today, the one dealer I visited offered me his boat show deal/promotion which is in 2 weeks. I was wondering if I should ask the dealer to waive the freight and handling fees as well. I never did get a printed invoice from the guy.

    Many thanks,

I didn't pay freight or prep. Listen to Tiny. There is a thread on the site about what people paid for their GTR 215

Probably your best bet for a pricing feel for this ski.

Really it's just a way dealers try and justify a markup. When I shopped for a ski it was simple... Call it whatever you want I just want an out the door price.

Exactly, MSRP is already profit enough, IMO it's usually just a way for unscrupulous dealers to advertise low prices and then try to f*ck you when you walk in the door.

Regardless of the freight/prep charge delete, I FOR SURE would get the undercoating and the special SeaDoo wax if I was getting it
