Et 15.5 Speed Results (updated 02/03/13)

Went out today with Jim from Jim's Performance and some other speed wizards and finally had decent weather and time to test my ski. The weather was pretty good and all runs were done in the bay (not in some south Florida canal) and the first run was limted to 84.4 mph with 3/4 throttle due to hitting the rev limiter from my R2. Jim so happended to have an R3 with the rev limiter raised with him. We swapped my r2 for the r3 and the ski went 86.1 mph at 8720 rpm and a second run of 86.2 mph at 8780 rpm. The slowest going the oppisite way on the bay going 85.9 mph. Afrs were 12.2. These speeds are true speeds and occurred in salt water right after a front passed with it raining a little and 1/2 tank of gas. I would like to mention I am running stock (09 @134 hrs.)clutch , rods, pistons and I know I am testing the limits but proper tuning and the right combination make a huge difference.

I change the oil every 20 hours with mobil 1 synthetic 12.1 is perfect 12.3 is not lean you have to get in the high 12 to 13 to be considered lean.
