Differences between domestic and Fuji engine mount locations

Does anybody know off hand what the differences in mount locations are? Im thinking of dropping a 1200 into a SLT 750 hull. Im wondering what it might take to do that.

I did some measurements for something similar. I believe the rear mounting points may be in approx the right location for the drive shaft to mount. The studs in the SLT hull are spaced a tad farther apart than the center of the slots in rear skid for a 700/1200 motor (still drops on but almost no left to right movement for alignment). The fronts would need custom work for sure.

Process would be to get the rear lined up perfect with the drive shaft then tackle the front mounts.

Easier to put a 750/780 into a domestic hull. But for the sake of conversation, you would be better off picking up a slt700 hull as the rear mounts would be in the correct position already.

That would be the ideal plan. Unfortunately the 1996 SLT 700 isn't anywhere as common as the SLT 750s were. The 1997 SLT 700 used the same hull as the SLTX and SLT 780 I believe. The 1996 SLT 700 is the same hull as the SLT 750s were, just with the mounting points for a domestic motor. It would be way more cool in the SLT 750 hull though. Ultimate sleeper!!!!!! A ported 1200 on a single pipe in that hull would probably run in the high 60s.

The SLT 750 hull is probably 75 pounds lighter with a much flatter bottom than the Virage TX had. Should have more speed in it.
