Anyone dare to take this project on??

I'd be really surprised if water didnt get inside engine- though if I understand 4tecs, dont the valves remain closed when its not running?

I'm intrigued- I just dont feel ready to take on a full engine rebuild as well (besides the cost).

2009 Sea Doo RXT IS Jetski. Was Mint before "Sandy", now needs trunk lid, rear lid, gauges, some handle bar controls, full seat. Low engine hours, always kept on elevator lift .Engine, drive train, and hull sound. $1800 . Needs about $2.5k parts.

No, there will always be some valves open therefore I'm pretty certain water got into that engine

Pretty sure thats way more than I'd be capable of. Only recently got into ski's and still learning the basics. I'll have an idea how im doing come spring when I see if my winterzing routine worked (yes, I followed guides here and have the factory manuals).

"engine is sound" probably means it's still attached to the ski

sorry guys- This was CL ad i saw. I dont own the ski. Was thinking $1800 + $2-3k in parts would be hell of a deal. This is in long island if someone else has any interested.
