    rxpx-260 cruise control installation

    i have kit#295-100-455 trying to get to the gauge cluster connector to install the two wire from the cruise button looks like i have to drill the two rivets out to get to it is this right any help is appreciated

    I installed one on mine dont remember drilling anything! No remove the gage cluster

    You should not have to drill any rivets there are torx screws under each side of the mirrors you must remove those then pull the whole trim piece towards you in riding position make sure to push down in front of cluster and pull towards you simultaneously and it should pop right out then there should be a piece of tape on the cluster just remove that push the tabs and release the cluster feed your wires through front compartment, unplug connector, remove the lock on the connector find the correct slots to install cruise wires and reverse the installation process hope this helps

    yes remove the torx screws and pop the top mirror trim off and it will give you accessto eh cluster which also pops out
