Use 4.5L after removing the PTO?

I know I pumped about 2.5q out of it then a lot more wound up in my hull after the PTO was removed. WHAT A MESS! Is there any other place for oil to hide or do I pump in the full 4.5. Also since I'm cleaning it with walmart oil and seafoam, I won't be able to get it all out. Won't this pose a problem?

I dont like to fill my ski's to the very top of the dip stick as it can cause RPM loss. So I add about 3.5quarts first. Then prime the motor and check oil level. I then get it to about 1/3 way up the stick and after my first ride with a heat cycle I check it hot and put it about 1/2 on the stick. Just my .02cents

If you tilt the engine with the cover off to drain all of the oil out and you change the filter, it should take 4.5L

3 qts + seafoam Should I change the oil soon after I put the good stuff in since I won't be able to pump out ALL the seafoam and walmart oil or can I go all season? I put on about 10-15 very rough hours a season.

I used to have Austins thinking and ran it halfway up the stick because soooooo many others here posted speed/rpm loss do to the crank slapping the oil.

I now run mine (as well as most of the people I ride with on the St. Johns) at the top without any issues and spin the motor 9200+ To get it to the top of the stick on a DRY motor takes 4.3 to 4.5 quarts. The Seadoo manual states 4.1 quarts, but it takes a little more to get it to the top of the stick. I usually put 4 in, start it and let it run for 30 seconds, shut it off and then check it.

If you want to run your oil level in the middle, its not going to hurt anything....
