    FINALLY got mine!!!

So I joined back in August? after getting confirmation that I am getting my families old '93 SL 750. Since then I've read a massive amount of info here and asked a ton of questions and decided what route I wanted to take. The ski has a burn-down in the MAG (or CEN? I don't remember) and I decided to do a 780 build/swap. So I've collected parts and also bought a beat up '96 SLX 780 to steal things from.

Well, as of yesterday the SL 750 is at my parents house. Once I get the SLX out of my garage here, I'll move it here. The delay was needing to get a duplicate title from Michigan, then transfer it, and now it's finally mine.

    Plans, over time, include:
    -780 top end
    -Rebuilt/sealed/refreshed bottom end
    -Extended pump
    -Fuel upgrades of course
-SLX ride plate, impeller, and intake grate
    -SLX/Ocean Pro F/A's
    -Adjust-A-Thrust
    -'93 SL 750 OEM Pink/Blue graphics!

My first endeavor is going to be the fuel system. Pentagon pump and new lines. From there will depend on finances. I need a lot of parts for the 780 top swap still, including pistons/rings. I MIGHT just fix the 1 bad 750 piston, and do the extended pump for this summer, then 780 over next winter. We'll see.

Overall, I wanted to just say THANK YOU to all of you who contribute(d) to this site, and especially everyone who made the knowledge base possible, which I believe is mostly K447.

If the cases from the 780 are good you might want to use those to build your 780 motor. I believe they are ported a little differently than the 650/750 ones. By the way, I think the 93 SL750 is cool as hell. Would be an awesome sleeper!!!!!

What could go bad on the cases? I'll be splitting them anyways, and already have new seals for the bottom end. I was hoping to use the 780 cases, but I'm almost positive the crank is going to be FUBAR, so I'll use the 750 crank after a thorough inspection.

And yeah, I agree, the pink/blue graphics are pretty cool IMO. No one will expect much out of this thing, and from my reading around here I think once everything is solid and tuned well it's not unreasonable to see speeds at or slightly above 55MPH... right?

Usually Fuji cases are only damaged from crank failure. (seized bearings or broken connecting rod)

From what I've seen, 52- 54 MPH is usually around top speed. I have read others of getting slightly higher on glass.

Well then, I guess I'll need to keep modding. I just want to beat my uncles 2011 SeaPoo, which is limited to 55MPH
