    GTI vs GTS 130

What is the difference? Found a guy selling one of each. Both are 2011 models. One is $5500 and the other is $5900.

    How do these prices seem?

One model is more basic than the other. 160 hours is insane for a 2011 model.

The GTS does not have reverse or Ibr.....Also less gauge functions....

    Go with the GTI 130!!!

And 160 isnt insane, I have a customer who has 140 on a 2011 RXT IS...He does a lot of river trips and long distance rides....

This is right the gts was not popular as no reverse on a big 3 seater is not good and the price difference to get the IBR was very small so most went with the gti.
We also have customers who do 110 + hrs a year and its certainly not warm year round here!

Upside - the gti has the ibr installled. This is a briliant feature...!
Downside - the truhull mounting of the ibr (lright side) of the gti 130 is secured by a screw and a nut glued to the inside of the hull. Over tighten this and you will not be able to remove the ibr or the pump. Some major cutting needs to be done.

Ps - I have 6 umits Gti 130 2012, and the highest is now running at 385 hours...!

Ok, here is the deal. The owner is a dealer. These units have been used as rentals and he sells them every other year. The rentals are used for cabins that I think he owns and most customers are repeats.

They have been maintained by the dealer regularly and he describes them as like new. When I pushed him on it, he went on to mention that he is a very reputable and well known dealer and stands behind everything he sells. His feedback is great.

Buying units with that many hours and being a rental would normally give me a great deal of pause. I am looking to buy new too and for about 3k more can get a brand new machine with a three year warranty.

The resale on both the Yammis and the SDs is just crazy right now. I am seeing tons of two stroke models that are much older going for 4k. Spending another 2k for a newer four stroke is a no brainer. Just wondering if it makes sense to just go new.

I wouldnt buy a rental....Think about how you treat a rental car......Now think about how you may have treated a rental PWC on a vacation...

If you got the extra $$$, go for new....

ask if he programmed them as rentals as you can limit them to around 99bhp in rental mode so the engine cant be thrashed
