    Fx Sho TPS problem?

Hi. I have a 2009 fx sho bought new in 2012. From new i will only get 91km/h (56,8mph) and rpm is at +\- 7000. It accelarate fast until 7000 rpm and then stop. There is now boost leak and the sc wheel is only spinning one direction so the clutch is good and there is no cavitation at all. Could it be the TPS that is bad?

I would think if it was bad you should get a check engine light with a tps code. Did you take out the throttle body and check it maybe not opening up all the way could be sticking.

Did you happen to look at the right hand pisser when you are cruising to make sure water is coming out, Just to make sure your intercooler is not clogged up, Also try this when you try to go wide open start giving it throttle slowly and see were it stop just don't nail it.

The right hand pisser is open and water is spraying out. I did give it gas slowly and it tops out at the same 7000 rpm. I also try to let the revs drop to 6800 rpm and gun it and yet again it stops at 7000.

With the seat off start the ski and let it idle for a few seconds and then shut it down do you hear the supercharger clutch free spin smoothly.

Hi there i took the seat off this morning and let it idle for a few seconds. After shut off the sc free spool for about 2 seconds. Is this normal?

Maybe the clutch is starting to go. So you wont really feel it turning the impeller the other way. It wont budge easy I mean.

Hi Private_xpl. The ski did this from new, the ski has 48hrs on now. And i didnt think something was wrong until i surf the web and saw everybody with a fx sho got around 66mph and i only got 57mph. Dont you think the clutch would have siezed up by now if it was doing this from the start?
