Top speeds/ building an rxpx 260

Looking for some advice on building rxpx260 I'm thinking of two options

    1) stock class race ski i heard there going about 77mph what's involved to get it there ?

    2) building open SC ski with motec /145 ET wheel looking for other parts will i need to go into mid 80's mph or can this hull go that quick ?

    Thanks guy

    Keep it under 80mph ...

I spoke to Les Cooke a while ago and that was his exact words ... They become a pig after 80 ...

Someone should tell CRT since he's going triple digits with it

Cornering at those speeds is the issue... The hull can be fast but the nose will not dip into the corners at high speed, handling is dodgy.

LC's bottom is quite different and has very good 80+ handling as we have seen 2 years running.

For you top speed boys I think the hull is great and clearly has the ability to go very fast, well done CRT, but he is asking for CC and anything over 80 is gona be HARD work on the stock bottom...

I would keep it stock class if your going to race. OPEN class is expensive and the folks that win are pushing close to $50k investment.
