If those temps were for air, it would probably confuse the shit out of everyone. 10° one day 60° the next then 40° with snow flurries... I'm not going out til this weather makes up its mind ha ha

Once it gets in the 40s and I have open water, Im good to go. Im hoping for early March on Lake Michigan here. Right now the boat ramps are iced in and there are icebergs floating all over the place here in Milwaukee.

Im usually in first week of april too but debating how muh i want to venture out on Barbay that early, typically the only one out there and with the little debris out there to get stuck would mean im screwed, went out dec 28th and picked up a glove that stoped my prop instantally

I was thinking the same thing around here (South Shore of Long Island). We had substantial flooding and at one area the ocean met the bay completely covering the barrier island of Long Beach, NY with about 4 ft or more of water. I am signing up for a Boat U.S tow membership this year at the recommendation of a friend. I take lots of solo rides so the added piece of mind will be good.

Probably going to justify riding March 15-25th wetsuit up and check out the bay. I'm curious how much traffic is going to be around this season on the water.

Yeah was debating that also, i have it for my boat which i may have to cancel because she was totaled in the storm and if i cant get it running thats that, but that was always my back up. If something happened, send the boat lol
