    Virage Cylinder question

Would a cylinder from a 2002 800 Virage fit a 1200 TXI? Their both fuel injected? Just wondered if the cylinders would interchange?

Thanks for the info. Just researching a couple parts skis for a winter project. If I need a cylinder I will get a hold of you...

I thought the 800s used the 017s just like the 1200s do.

I was under the same assumption. According to polaris, the 800 was different, but it may be something like slightly different port timing.

I just looked it up. They are different. The 800 in the Octane uses the same cylinders as the 1200 motors though. 3021286 are the Virage i cylinders.

virage i fuel injected, the octane was not, hence the different jugs.allthough the fi 1200's and carbed 1200 ran the same jugs, except the msx.so why create a new jug for only the 800 virage i.
