    Oil pressure jet

Is the oil pressure jet supposed to be in my 2002 4-tec GTX?

    http://www.greenhulk.net/forums/showthread.php?t=6695

I was pulling the engine apart due to water ingestion and am reading up on rebuild tips etc. This engine does not have the oil pressure jet - is it supposed to??

It is a SBT engine... everything good other than that.

if you have the stock head then yes you should have the jet. If you bought a drop in engine then they should have included the proper head and rocker shaft

If you don't have the jet, you may have a late '06 and up rocker shaft to compensate. (so don't just put in the jet without checking what rocker shaft you have...)

Ok cool thanks.. found this http://www.greenhulk.net/forums/show...t=95052&page=2 and it does have the 2006+ head. And I am assuming it is the 2006+ rocker shaft as it one has one small oil feed hole that aligns with the head feed hole.

Well my next question is it has a early crank shaft http://www.greenhulk.net/forums/showthread.php?t=147773 - does it matter which cam gear (or cam shaft?) or are all the cam gears the same? Heard so many horror stories about SBT I am just trying to double check things..

    Thanks!
