    Switch to a 50-Weight oil? pros/cons?

I was just wondering if it would be a good a idea to run a 50-Weight oil this season. Summer temps run 85-95F*. Thinking about M1 15W-50, Amsoil 15W-50.

The above oil mentioned has less than 50ppm pf Moly. So that shouldn't be a problem for our SC's.

Has anyone ran a 50weight yet?

I run the Mobil 1 15W-50 in my turbo and love it. When I was supercharged, I stuck with the BRP XPS, or the Valvoline motorcycle wet clutch oil.

You can run the AMSOIL 10-40 Synthetic Marine Oil. It is safe for the supercharger clutches.

If you really wanted to go with a thicker oil I would only run the AMSOIL 20-50 Motorcycle Oil since it is a MA2 and good for the supercharger clutches.

Here is a test regarding the Sea-Doo and the AMSOIL Synthetic for the supercharger wet clutches.
