    compression question

    Im looking to buy a engine for my 1100 waverunner i found a used motor that has 100psi in all 3 plugs is that good motor. Or should i buy a sbt what a good compression on engine

    100 on all cylinders evenly means the compression gauge is a cheapo. Throw a little oil in the cylinders, run it a few times and buy yourself a newer gauge. Pretty sure cylinders dont evenly wear like that, something eventually gives on at LEAST one cylinder and blows it/causes damage.

    Never buy a motor without checking compression yourself, unless it's for parts.
    105 -120 would be good for a used three cylinder.
    Search site for proper comp check procedure.
