Plastic Rotax engine head cover on px 260

hey guys jus a quick question.. i bought the rotax plastic engine head cover for my px 260 cause i ride in the ocean and i tend to get some water on the engine head.. now the 2012s model dont come with this cover but the engine is the same so assumed this cover would work for me.. when i put it on it jus rests on the head.. i looked at the parts list for the head and there are no things to hold it down such as any bolts, jus the clips that goes down into the holes on the engine head... is it really jus suppose to rest on the engine like that?? i think if a good wave hits the ski that cover is coming off.

You need the screws in the holes where the clips on the cover go in.

Seadoo was cutting costs with no screws or plastic cover.

They also don't give out seadoo anchors and other misc items the way they did in older 4 stroke models..

If your going to ride in salt water, don't even bother putting it on, if its not sealed completely your going to be taking it off after every ride to wash away all the shit underneath it anyway, otherwise your going to have corrosion underneath!

Ahh thank you. Even tho am riding in the salt of course am going to take off after to wash it out. But with the cover on am expecting not to get as much salt on the head as I do now.
