06 to 07 Rideplate - Different part numbers but are they physically the same?

06 to 07 RXP or RXT Rideplates, are they the same?

    06 RXP & RXT part number is 271 001 535

    07 RXP & RXP part number is 271 001 557

I thought it was on the RXPX when they physically changed where the grate sits?

Can any one confirm that an 07 RXT one will fit an 06 RXP?

    Thanks in advance.

This ones a little dated so Not sure if you got the answer you needed?

In 06 they changed the ride plate fittings. It's common practice for BRP to update part numbers without an actual change to the part.
X plates are different and a much better setup. The tab on the plate that the grate fixes to runs all the way across. So there's no need for the girdle thats needed on a modded RXP/RXT to stop the grate snapping the tab and pulling the inserts out of the shoe.
X plate does not just bolt up to an RXP either. Although if you we're pulling your shoe it would be an upgrade to consider?

So to answer your question, Yes 07 RXT will fit your 06 RXP.

just make sure you get the plastic screw on water fittings as that's the difference and they don't interchange

Thanks guys, I have dry fitted it and all seems good. I need to mill down the intake grate a little to get it to sit flush with the girdle installed.

Are you sure the screw on ends for the Coolant hoses are different?

The look the same, and screw on ok etc.

    Thanks.

04-05 fittings have a male thread, female thread in plate. 06+ have female fitting and o-ring, male thread on plate.

Yeah girdle/ grate fitting takes some massaging. Make sure you don't bind it up and put pressure on the grate.
