Aethna Connector / Mounting Issue Resolved

Well I don't know if anyone else ran into this but the Athena shipped to me requires one of the OEM ECU connectors be flipped upside down. My Athena is black but also noticed that they shipped some orange units which may or may not have this issue. The Riva instruction clearly state that one connector needs to be flipped but this caused a lot of wire strain on the rear ECU connector on my 2010 TX which has a 4" kanoflex intake. Anyways I made a secondary mounting plate out of black textured ABS so I could rotate the ECU by 90 deg ( connectors facing forward. Not only did this eliminate the wire strain but also gives access to the fuel rail bolts and injector connectors which are obstructed with the Riva mounting plate. Lastly it allows the use of the OEM engine cover, if desired which gives the engine a pretty clean look, pics below.

You need to cut the zip-tie that holds the wire harness and recondition them and reinstall the zip tie so you can give enough clearance.
The black one should be the final finish.

Yeh I did that and it was still way too tight. Part of the issues is the kanoflex and heat shield ( BTW all RIVA parts for the TX kit ). It is probably a different situation for the 260 PX.
