Have any of you mounted your RRFPR directly to the end off the fuel rail as per the photo and if so did you have any problems etc. I normally mount differently but this just works well with the BEGI regulator I am fitting to this ski.

Any advise most welcome, most ride lakes with just a couple if days at sea per year so hard wave jumping etc.

That will most likely fail from the weight and vibration.

Mine is like that, you have an alloy fuel rail so I cant see it failing personly, Mine has not yet. Much cleaner inatall in my opinion. R88

With the larger size, I would slightly worry about breaking a fitting. The rail and FPR will be fine, but the fitting joining them could snap, especially if its thin walled and over tightened.....Personally, I would run a fuel line from the end of the rail, BACK towards the front of the engine bay, mount the FPR on the hull (right below the triangle opening)...Solid location, free from engine vibration, closer to the front vacuum port on the front block off on motor, and a shorter run for the return.....Mount the gauge at the front of the rail.

I also like a 180 fitting at the end of rail
if you need to pull the fuel rail its very simple

Id be more concerned with the fitting on the rail....To my eyes it looks cocked or cross threaded...Maybe its just me....BUT anyway with it tight on the rail like that i wouldnt think it would be an issue, its when guys add extensions to the end of the rail then connect the Reg. to it,then there becomes a weak spot....up tight like that i see it not being an issue,BUT i would check that connection first to make sure its tight and not crossed....

I have just checked and it is not crossed threaded. In the photo it looks that way and after your posts I went back out to check and took back off again and it all fine.

Yea, it is probably just not drilled and tapped straight. I like the FPR mount on the rail were Danny puts them and a U Fitting!
