I lost a set. The dealer I know hooked me up with a set he had that worked. What I don't know is if he had to program them or what Hopefully a dealer can help u like he helped me cause $600 is a lot when it don't add horse power

If you go to dealer with your original key and ask for extra copies, then its easy and usually modest charge, like $35 or less. But, if you lose key and go in with nothing, and dealer starts from scratch, then its the big $. Since I lose my car keys all the time, I had about 4 duplicate keys made when I bought ski. Then hid them all over house, garage, car etc. If dealer gives you free replacement for a lost key, thats a great deal!

did you lose one key or both keys. if you lose either the SLO or FPO key a new key can be be programmed to replace the version that was lost. if you lose both keys you have to buy a new set of keys and ECU.

if your dealer hooked you up one of three options happened:
    1. you only lost one of the keys and he repogrammed the one you lost from the remaining key (if you search on the site there is a K-Tech Article posted somewhere documenting how to do this)
2 : if its the dealer you bought it from/get it regularly serviced at they may have made a spare key for service. some owners dont always leave the key in it for service.
3 : he had a spare set of keys and ECU and gave them to you at a really really really good price

option 1 and 2 are the mostly likely scenario. while option 3 could have happened no one just gives money away like that.

I bought the programmer for around 30.00, worked like a charm to make a spare key quick and easy using one of my originals as the slave.
Best to be safe and make an extra orange key
