Question 2009 YAMAHA FX SHO Battery Cable Question

I ordered a PERKO Battery shut off switch for my FX SHO.

Does anybody know the thickness of the Positive/Negative Battery Cables?
I need to order another Positive cable to go from the battery to the switch

I personally think its either #8 or #10

    any infor would be appreciated

    mike

The cables are either a 4 or 6 gauge nothing smaller. I will let you know for sure in about 1 hour when I go to work on mine
