Can US yamaha dealers sell skis overseas?

    Hi,
Im looking to get a 2013 YELLOW vxr, but Yamaha Europe are only bringing in the blue ones!
Im thinking of buying a US yellow one and importing it to the UK.
Anybody know of a dealer will help? (east coast would be the best)

Probably cheaper to wrap it in yellow with new yamaha geniune stickers. Import fees, shipping fees any changes in emission laws etc etc.

Be alot less hassle to go for the yellow FZS from a UK dealer, & you would have a two year warranty for piece of mind.

You would be suprised at the differnce in price over here!
New VXR on a trailer £13500- New VXR in the States $10500 -which works out about £7200 +£1400 duty and factor in about £1500 for shipping and a trailer-Just over £10K!-that's saving about £3500, or about $5000!
But that's not the point-I want a yellow one! Yamaha Europe have dropped a bollock by not importing the yellow ones-I spoke to a dealer the other day and there are still 'new unsold' 2011 blue Vxr's in storage crates! Yamaha even painted a limited amount in red and white 50th anniversary motogp colours to try and shift a few.
Voltrex-get your point, but ive had a FZR, and for me they are just too big and heavy!
Ive also had a 2011 VXR, and these things are pretty bullettproof-I would be happy to risk the warranty issue.
Olomana-I didnt get a C.E cetificate with my UK dealer bought 2011 VXR-just a small sticker on the electrical box!
I really would not mind paying UK prices if the dealers offered what I want, but they don't. Yamaha will get a sale of one unit if I can source a yellow one, if I can't, I simply wont buy a new one.

no they cant at least they are not allowed to, they will lose their dealer license if yamaha/seadoo finds out plus warranty will not be honoured. Seadoo that is made three hours from where i live (canada) was lot more expensive the. If i where to cross the border but no seadoo dealer in Ny would sell me one.

Really that set on it huh? You could just buy one and have it wrapped for a fraction of the price and hassle of importing one and nobody would know the difference. Then when you wanted to sell it you could pull the wrap off and it would be mint. Plus why not get the warranty while your at it.
