    BOV

Hey guys, I have the R&D multi port adapter. I already have my boost gauge running to it, is it ok to run a BOV on it also ? I've heard you should run your BOV off of a manifold tap and not the port adapter. What have you guys done ?

Not sure where you heard that. I run my HKS bov off the multipressure port adapter from R&D with zero problems and over 100 hours.

I run my boost gauge off the multiport adapter but when it came time to run the BOV I tapped the manifold.

I tap'd the manifold and ran some 1/4" vacuum line to the Tial Q I run. The better the signal, the faster the response of the BoV.

I tapped the manifold where there is only about 4" of line to the bov.

When you tap the manifold what is the best way to do it?
    Size of hole?
    Fitting size?
I have read different suggestions regarding the tial bov.

1/8" npt. I used 1/8npt x 3/16 barb fitting. I took the manifold off and cut the bosses off the ends and tapped both.

I did the same but did not cut them just drilled and tapped.
