96 GTX Jetting with Proks
Had another PTO cylinder meltdown at the end of last season and I'm just finishing off the rebuild.
Carb filters had a very small amount of debris in them, maybe 1mm deep.
Pistons are both 1mm over now.
Engine torn down to crank, inspected and new outer crank seals installed.
Rave valves clearanced.
Engine pressure tested.
Stock machine with ProK flame arresters, this is what I had for jetting when it failed:
1/4 out Highs
1 1/4 out Mag low
1 1/2 out PTO low
Does this look good for jetting or should I go up on the mains ? These specs are very close to what the search brings up with the exception of 145 and 147.5 main jets being mentioned in a few posts.

did you ever perform a chop test?thats when you go wot and turn it off, then pop the seat and remove a plug, or all plugs, and look at the burn color. it would tell you if you are rich or lean.i would start rich and dial it back,if you close the screws until you are 1/8 out on either hs screw, then go down a jet size, open them up to 1.5 and start over with the chop.

I'll give these numbers a try, Thanks
I did do some plug chops and they looked OK to me, the ski has been ridden like this for almost a year with no problems until boom. It's a rec ski so I'm not looking to get the last 20 rpm out of it I just want it to run good and be reliable.
