    does a larger throttle body make a difference

    hey guys i have a 2007 rxp with alot of mods... but my knock senor code pop up, and my throttle body is getting stuck from not riding as often...so since i have to change it... do i go with a high performance throttle body??? or do it not make a difference??? or can it just get repaired?? and as far as the the knock senor goes??? is their a high performance knock senor?? thanks in advance

    I didn't really notice it but bigger inlet = more volume ....

    So must make some difference ...

    It can also slow down the air speed as you loose some of the Venturi effect so it's not always a good thing.

    Is it easy to fix??? Because it's pretty stuck.. Also what about that knock sensor

    Remove shaft and butter fly first and clean ... Replace knock sensor ...

    What's the best product to clean and lub??? And is it ok to buy that knock sensor used or should i just buy it brand new??

    ... youd think so but really how much is 2-3mm going to make when your forcing air in anyway... its not like its breathing threw a straw, also the inlet manifolds them selves look kinda crappy... and the exhaust manifold is horrible, think these would be a far greater restriction.

    Bigger throttle body is a plus. Especially when using forced induction. If someone tells you differently theyare either lying to you or misinformed. Its just that simple. Keep your current tb and have it bored. Replace knock sensor with an oem unit.
