    Belt holder

    Anyone have pics of DIY or RD belt holder for a 300? Thanks.

    You don't even need one if you do it right with a couple zip ties.

    use 4 longer bolts the width of the belt with nylock nuts its not hard to work out but really who has ever broken a belt..

    Ill see if I have some but from past experience the bilge grease and water tend to eat up belts anyways its good in a pinch though. The 300 belt is pretty hard to break.

    Yeah. I figure I got it though, so might as well leave it in there...

    I see how longer bolts or studs would work, but figured there might be an easier alternate method as simple as a few zip ties.

    done it both ways vic the bolts make it a little easier but a careful fold in the belt with a zip tie and a small hole drilled in the tunnel brace to pass a tie through also works a treat
    i may or may not have a pic on 250xtech been sometime remembering what i posted there.
    btw if you are going to fit a spare belt dont forget to put a spanner in to fit the adjuster, otherwise the exercise is pretty pointless for a quick water fix..

    I've actually just zipped mine to the cooler line works fine as well.
