    Finally pulled the trigger!!

Well, as of tomorrow i will officially be able to join the crowd and call myself a couc.... umm Yamaha owner!

Friday at the Miami Beach Boat Show I got to sit down and buy me a Black/Red 07' FX High Output!! I might end up stripping the graphics for just a Black/Gray look.

Actually me and a friend got one each so i was negotiating for two, funny enough my friend wasn't even there because he had to go to work and couldn't find parking at the show literally 10 minutes after we parked. My salesperson really seemed to want to take care of me and give me as much as he could, which was great. Made the whole experience really simple and rather quick, only took about 20 min.

Each ski is $11k flat OTD with Gal Karavan Trailer and 3 year warranty (Thanx Yama! Boat show special) and a few other perks on the side when I go to pick up!

Damn i'm so exited its not even funny! Just can't wait to bring her home. We're already planning to head out on her maiden voyage on Friday, then again to the Keys on Sunday!

So anybody have any pick up advice for a new ski? Any kind of checklist for what I should be looking for tomorrow? I've done a few new car purchases but it seems this might be a little different.

Now if i could just get the last damned part for my truck so i can install my damned Hitch i'd be doing kartwheels!

    Congrats on the new purchase!!
I dont know for sure that th FXHOs are the same, but If I buy another GPR I will look behind the ski and make sure the transom plate is lined up with ALL the tabs. I see alot that are not. It can be fixed (PITA) but you shouldnt have to "FIX" a new $11,000 ski.
Thats just something I would look at if there were several to choose from.

    Congrats!

My son and I have put over 140 hours on our HO Cruiser in less than a year. No problems and my solo trips are a pleasure. I love this craft and it is quite the good looking rig. From Tahoe to the Delta this has been a great all around boat. We have spent whole days looking for islands and beaches all over norcal.

I will probably add a 1300r to the mix for our second ski and then all four of us can play. I know this will be much fun for you.
