    RE RXP block off installation

    I install RE block off on my RXp and i would like to know if i must push the rubber seal tube into hull, or can i use it to put the new RE bolck off?

    You can push the rubber tube into the hull, add some "Right Stuff" silicone to the block-off plates, and bolt them on. This applys to the inner plates (by the pump) also.

    As you probably already know, the alignment of the bottom of the plates is more important than the side. Some folks fill the gap on the sides with silicone.

    dont line it up with the hook at the end on the bottom of the hull.

    mrracing... after re-reading my post I see that I could have been more clear... I'm not explaining things very well today ... can't type today either.

    I meant that the leading edge should not protrude below the bottom of the ski and that sacrificing a little more gap along the sides to ensure it is flush is preferable... hmmm, I'm not so sure that explanation was any better

    But thanks for pointing that out... the picture actually helps... like they say... worth a thousand words

    So focus on lining it up on the side not the bottom ?
