    15 f exhaust rings

Hi guys, has anyone here done anything to bypass using the exhaust rings into the waterbox, seems a silly way to join the pipes and no good for salt water

no, they work fine, if you are worried about them rusting or corroding, cover that part in marine grease or something, they were fine on my ski even though the previous owner never flushed it.

Just make sure you can compress them enough to get the box on. The stock ones were a pain in the ass.

These are as easy as doing a single barrel two stroke. The original rings I use masking tape to compress them, it burns away quickly
If we get enough the whole end can be replaced with a billet and welded piece.

I used electrical tape, it does the same. What are you talking about replacing? The end of the manifold?

Yes just the end of the collector, billet only because we cant do cast, but only if there's enough of them. This we did because there was none in the country

How would you attach it? Just press fit or weld it or what?
