Suggestions for new 12' SHO Cruiser ?

Well here's the million dollar question. As I posted in another thread I am riding my ski from Moline Il to the Gulf of Mexico June 23rd but I am getting the itch to do a LITTLE something to it performance wise before I go. I am currently installing the 4 alpine 7 inch mids and highs, amp and 10 inch Alpine solo baric sub right now, also fitting a trunk to the back of it and all of that is going fine but I just can't stand to leave the engine stock or at least maybe a stage 1 kit of some kind. So back to my question.Where do you spend the money on this ski for the best top end improvement? I have a 04 rxp that GPS 77.4 with a cooler full of beverages a 110 lb kid on the back and a 7 speaker stereo system with 2 amps so maybe with weight out I might be looking at 80mph but anyway that's a whole other ski and I'm hoping to hear from the Yamaha guys. Thanks for any help.

Love the storage unit! Is that an for an ATV??

Personally I wouldn't be into the stereo gear. Maybe some handling mods to make it a smoother trip. Shouldn't have any lack of power.

Air intake upgrade, intake ribbon delete, intake grate, ride plate modified by Jim's Performance and a repitched prop will get you to over 70. Removing exhaust baffles and doing rear exhaust would be great but with that long of a ride it bight be a bit loud.

Yes it is an ATv trunk lol. I don't think it's going to be big enough for me though. Thanks for info.

Thanks for the info. Who is Jim and is his ride plate as good as a aftermarket? Any chance of getting the ski around 77-78mph without spending 5k? Thanks

Ok I did my research on Jim and see he has a good product. Ok so I'm thinking just bolt on parts for now and maybe when this trip is over il go hog wild or maybe I won't even want to look at this ski after 1000 miles on it, lol time will tell.

    +1 but add a reflash R2 or 3 , decent (fizzle) intercooler and like a b1 wheel.
