Anyone interested in a Lake Superior run next summer?
We did it this year, and was great fun.
Left from Superior Wisconsin and rode up the north shore to Grand Marais.
About 275 miles round trip.
Last year we had four of us, right now we have commitments for about4 more. We will be going in July sometime.
You will need a thin wetsuit, GPS, handheld radio, and clothes for up to 3 days.
Last year we made the trip on glassy water in about a day. Spent the night up in Grand Marais and then motored back the next day.
If anybody is interested, send me a PM.
Maybe I will dub this trip "Mudbug frozen north"

LOL.... 44 DEGREE WATER IN THE HEAT OF SUMMER. I was raised up there, Hyperthermia in 7 minutes sounds like the poler bear club ,not the midbogs.

Bringing this to the top............
Jawz: It is more like 65-70 degree water at the surface in most areas in the heat of summer. It's not that bad!!
