    R&D watercooled housing gains

    Hello guys I'm interested in what gains does the watercooled housing has in a sho engine and if there are any tricks or tips together in the installation of this housing to gain full advantage of it thank you so much for reading my question..

    The only gains I have seen is cooler engine compartment

    That's what I'm seeing too cooler engine... But is there any trick to be able to get more performance out of it.

    the anti surge system on the r&d water cooled housing is a plus as well,, ive got one and it worth it for the under seat temps and anti surge plus on long wot runs im shaw it helps a bit with iat

    Got it so no rpm gains over the stock housing as r&d claim almost 200 rpms

    no i never noticed it , but to be honest i change a lot of stuff at the same time so i realy wouldnt know , but i cant see how it dose ,,if it dose at all

    I understand I will give it a try to see if I see any gains in rpms glen from r&d says its like having another intercooler also he says an increase in rpms and that we should connect the housing to the exit of the oil cooler to the housing and then outside..

    I would connect it off the intercooler and water temp wouldn't be as high from the oil cooler

    Then you slow down the water that's flowing through the intercooler. Oil cooler is a better idea the water coming out of it is not hot as one might think.

    When I was thinking about doing this mod I was going to T off the dedicated IC line like JD1 recommends and instead of dumping that water overboard running it to this housing.
