    Homemade bar

I am thinking of building a small homemade bar for the man cave. Has anyone done this before or have any suggestions/ pictures? I was thinking about 8-10 feet long.

how much do you want to spend is the question you need to ask yourself. its easy to drop 10k on a 10 ft bar with a few amenities surrounding bar. mild or wild

Those took me a ton of time to do. I helped another friend build one. He framed it out of 2x4s and I just made all of the wood panels and tops for it. Came out looking great. Custom bars are very labor intensive and expensive. Obviously the more you can do yourself, the cheaper it will be. You could frame it out of 2x4s and even do stone work on the front. Its all in your tastes and what you are looking for.

Just make sure you have friends who will use it (Life Lesson #5001) . My house came with a wet bar and I ended up using it as my computer bench. When someone comes by my place they always end up hanging out in the garage. Go figure
