2008+ DIY RRFPR..how to bybass stock FPR

What is the easiest way to bypass the stock FPR to run a RRFPR... I bought a Aeromotive regulator, autometer liquid filled gauge, AN to 3/8" barb fittings, and a return fitting. I have searched, but everything that comes up is for the pre-08 skis. I see the Riva kit comes with a billet block off. What is everyone in the DIY world doing here? I have the pump assembly out now, but just not sure how to go about this.

Help is greatly appreciated!!!! Thanks in advance.

i just removed the stock regulator altogether and plugged the hole where it went with a self tapping screw.

I'm not sure if this is the same thing as you meant, but i removed the hose that feeds the stock fpr and tapped a thread into the spigot that the hose came from and screwed a bolt in there. I then installed a small length of fuel hose back over the spigot and fastened a bolt in the end with a hose clamp to make sure no fuel would pass.

Thanks guys... That is kind of what I gathered, but wanted to make sure lol. I pulled it out today to get a visual. I will start some disassembly tomorrow. My regulator was supposed to be here today...but now it's not looking like I will have it until Tuesday!
Oh well, I am also doing the pump tunnel reinforcement, intercooler relocation, bilge pumps, groco strainer w/shutoff valve, and a few other things so I can stay busy at least. lol

Guys I am about ready to do another 08 Walbro install and if I remember correctly is that you dont really need to modify anything like Rivas states with the walbro. As I remember it snaped wright in. Also Anyone see any issue useing the Vent line for the Return line? As Im gonna use a 08 fuel sending unit in a 12 were as the vent was put on the gas cap and they did away with the vent hose and barb.

Austin, you need to trim the plastic around the bottom a bit. Also if you noticed from my pic I replaced the flimsy line with a new one rated for efi. You do not have to do that but imo it's a bit better and you already have it apart.

i didnt need to trim anything. my pump fit in the housing with fuel line and a hose clamp hooked up to it. if the new skis are vented on the cap then the old vent nipple will be a great idea for a return.

Ok I just poped it in and it is a good fit, but this is without the fuel line install just a fitment test. I guess when you install the fuel line it pushes the pump over enough that you have to trim the plastic?
