    hey guy on here with a brand new "used "ski

    hey guys... i figured i would properly introduce my self on here... my names matt.. i just picked my self up a 06 gtx limited sc with only SIX hours on it.. story has it a guy in his late 60s bought the ski new.. put an hour on it a season for 6 seasons and traded it in.. i picked it up with a brand new 2013 trailer for 6200 bucks.. any one have any tips for breaking in a motor??

    Yep, with 6 hrs and several heat cycles you can just ride it like you stole it.

    Need to get rid of the ceramic washers in the SC before you put any time on it.

    Welcome to the forum, Nice score

    I would save yourself any future headaches, and change out the ceramic SC clutch washers first! Hopefully it was properly serviced /winterized each season.

    Valves were updated in 07+ I believe. U may wanna upgrade those in the near future as well. other than those items , you should be good to go on the rest of it.

    whats the turn around time like for getting a job like those washers done?? is that something the dealer can do or does it have to be shipped out?

    Don't ride it any more till those ceramic washers are changed.
    I've seen them break at 10 hours on a 07 rxp.
    Once they break its $2k+ to fix properly.

    and i thought i had it nice when i bought an 09 RXP with 26 hours on it last year.....props on the low hour find!

    Great find. Might want to get the injectors cleaned and fuel system flushed.

    i'm constantly looking for deals like that and never find themwhats the t 749 on the dash??
