    Good ol" driveshaft rust

    So for winter maintenance (after adding the VTS) I pulled the driveshaft to check the alignment and much to my surprise the new driveshaft of 50 hours has severe corrosion and pitting but only in the area inside the bellows, the rests looks like new. I make it a habit of spraying inside the pump after each ride (along with generous amounts of xps lube all over) but looks like fresh water is not getting to that part. With that said, has anybody ever had theirs zinc plated or something along those lines? It would be nice to keep the driveshaft rust old beat to hell GP shaft still looks like new today

    I ride in salt water and after cleaning mine with a wire wheel I covered it with Corroseal it has been corrosion free ever since,
