Hydroturf - pre-glued or my glue?

Was perusing the Hydroturf site for new turf for my 2001 GP1200R - was leaning towards getting the pre-adhesived stuff to save myself doing all the contact cement routine (I've done plenty of the glue downs, just getting lazy I guess haha). But I note now the turf that has the 3m adhesive already on it has the 'new' oval Hydroturf logo on the back, and the old style you glue yourself has the 'old' bigger logo on the back deck.

Anybody got the oval logo on their machines? Do you like it over the old style logo lettering? Anybody have any issues with the 3m pre-glued stuff staying down? Just wondering - thanks.

The 3M stuff sticks like crazy. I would definitely get it with the adhesive already on it. Thats the only way I have ever gotten it.

Yeah I figured if 3M makes it its good. If I bought it preglued this would be the first I've ever done that way, I've done probably 8-9 pwcs with the contact cement now over the years.

Definitely get the 3M PSA! Way easier installation, and I've not had one peel up yet.

I just recently put the pre adhesive mats on my GPRXP conversion. I had never replaced mats before so I do not have anything to compare it to, but it sure was easy and they seem to be sticking very well.

Anyone got a close up pic of the 'new' oval logo style? Yeah its a vanity thing - I'd prefer they not have anything back on the deck but the big name wasn't bad. I have to see this oval first before I order.

I think you can probably call and get it without the logo..... not sure though. get the pre-glued.
