I have valve train kit from riva. Only stock is piston and rods ? Now is it still crazy to do 9000 rpms with valve train but with standard pistons and rods?

Lol I remember a month ago your sig file said you were turning 8700 rpm... then a week ago or so you changed it to 8800, now it says 9000 rpm and you say you have been running it like that for 5 months... Was that 9000 rpm on the ET Low Boost wheel where you said you ran the 86 mph?

Let us know how long the ski holds up at 9500 rpm!

I would say 9000 maybe 9200 is about it. These motors r stronger then what riva and all the parts manufactures say they are. They just do that to cover there ass. I honestly think I wouldn't push it any more then 9k happily. Just make sure you have perfect afrs all the time, my only concern is I think the stock fueling is maxxxxed out by now for sure. My only thing about running that many Rpms on the low boost wheel is why not go to a 15.5 and u won't have to turn the motor so hard and achieve the same 85mph u r doing at 8800 and can be done at 8500-8600 with the 15.5. I'm not saying the motor won't let go At these Rpms but I'm sure the first thing would be the pistons.
