    Houston area

Where is a good ride in the houston area? I go to the San Jac river a lot. People say lake houston has a lot of dead heads. Any suggestions would be keen!!

I ride on Clear Creek with WFO.
Also if you ever feel like heading East, lots of places to ride smooth water near Beaumont.

I think there are at least two trails on my site that are just outside of Houston: http://pwctrailfinder.com/TexasPWCTrailRides.html And plenty more outside the general area. Let me know if you have any questions...

    And welcome to the forum.

I'm not too far from you YamyGP1200 (Heights) but always looking to ride/explore new water. Upper and Lower san Jac are fun, Trinity is butter but no where to beach, Conore sucks (always choppy) and I've ridden the Angelina River out East (which is nice but a bit of a haul). My girl and I are doing a ride on the 29th down to Port O'Conner and staying in a hotel right on the intercoastal and each room has their own slip. If you or anyone else here would like to join us you would be more than welcome (of course you get your own room- LOL)
