    Take a Test Drive

I'm not a diehard race fan, but I enjoy watching a good race and I'm also not the biggest fan in the world of Jeff Gordon. I happened across this video on Youtube and I've now decided he's an okay guy. It's a stunt set up by PepsiMax where he goes under cover and acts like a dweeb (a real stretch, right ). Anyway, he takes a Camaro on a test drive and let's just say the salesman wasn't quite ready for this one.

Just like the salesman, I nearly messed myself laughing watching the video.

My guess is that most of, if not the entire thing, was scripted. 'Salesman' appears to be acting, or has not been trained what to do if a 'test driver' gets scary.

I have not done any web searching, it just feels rather 'reality TV' script-like to me.

Who's ID was used for "Mike's" check out sheet at the front desk before the test drive?

Is that Pepsi camera ready cup holder in the top center of the dash a stock item?

On the other hand, how many more Jeff Gordon wanna-be will be showing up at their local dealerships in the coming weeks for their own test drives?

    All good points K.

I was having too much fun watching the video to critique the real world validity. After watching it again, it does seem as though they are places without regular traffic so it seems like there was an empty industrial area something similar where they drove.

On the lighter side, I think "Mike's" test drive is a sort of revenge on car salesman many of us have dreamed about.
