    under water level sealant for sponsons???

    What kind of underwater line sealant are people using when puttin after market sponson on?? I used 3M 4200 for my underwater LEDs on my boat. Is that good enough for the sponsons? Also what possion is good for the riva sponsons?? Is the top like a stock ride,? Where are most people running them? thanks

    I use regular Permatex silicone adhesive, aka RTV Works great. I run them all the way down, and hang on.

    3m marine adhesve sealant #5200 pt# 051135-05203 best stuff i have even used it only comes in white that i know of, but you can clean up with denatured alcohol while wet to make it look good on the outside, use it you will never have a leak again

    I use the Right Stuff to seal up about anything through hull related. Smooth excess out with thinner to make it look nice. Run those bad boys all the way down!

    For below and above the waterline here in Texas at all the Marina's everyone uses 5200,
    They have a fast dry that works great,

    Iv used Permatex The right stuff and Black RTV - both have worked fine.
